Burton Snowboards

Penguins can’t fly, but they can ride. This year the Yeti family has joined up with their friend from Antarctica, who traveled over 5,000 miles to come see the 2007 Burton Abominable Snow Jam, now in its fourth year at Timberline, Mt. Hood. His trip will definitely be worth it and so will yours. Burton Snowboards is proud to present the only major summer snowboard competition in North America. Come see some of the world’s elite snowboarders tearing it up on the glacier July 10th-12th. So pack your gear and your sunscreen, come on out and hang with some Yetis and a flightless snowboarding bird. See you there.

Paul Mitchell

Ok, ok, ok - so we’re the new kids on the block here, but that doesn’t mean we just fell off the turnip truck. We’re smart enough at Paul Mitchell to have been sponsoring snowboarding for over a decade, and have upped our IQ level by partnering with the granddaddy of all snowboarding companies, Burton! But.what the heck does professional salon hair care have to do with snowboarding - and what’s the connection between stylists and snowboarders?

STYLE and PERFORMANCE.

CREATIVITY and ART.

Both of these professions bring a lifetime of passion, adventure, dedication, technique and skill to their world. They’re about pushing the envelope and creating ART, not just being satisfied with the status quo. They’re about freedom of expression, originality and having FUN. So - Purple hair? No problem. Mohawk? Piece of cake. Mullet? Hey - they’re so out they’re back in! Paul Mitchell’s just here to add a little more style to this party, so go ahead, play hard. We’ll clean you up.

Harley-Davidson

Harley-Davidson will roll into the Burton Abominable Snow Jam for the second time this season and we’re coming for the same reason you are. There is just something about the rush of wind blasting you in the face that frees the soul in a way nothing else can. If you’ve experienced it, you know... and if you haven’t – well then we feel sorry for you.

The Abominable Snow Jam is not like other competitions. It’s about loving the sport and hanging out with the best riders in the world. It’s about the perfect convergence of speed, intensity and killin’ it that will have your buddies toasting you for weeks. It’s about getting out and doing what fills your soul’s tank. Not only do we get that, but we’ve spent more than 100 years building a company around that feeling. That’s why Harley-Davidson is coming to celebrate the place where boards and bikes converge by rewarding ‘Inspired Riders.’

With rebel roots and shared struggles for mainstream tolerance, both motorcycle and snowboard cultures persevered through pure passion and an undeniable desire to ride. Whether it’s out on the open road or on a glacier, cruising with friends or finding yourself, both motorcycling and snowboarding are fueled by the passionate spirit of the individuals that choose riding as a way of life. And whether you think you’re escaping life for a few hours or finally living it – nothing rivals the time spent riding. It’s what we live for. Now, turn off your computer, grab your gear and go ride!
